Get to Know Your City Services During Florida City Government Week

City services are so woven into the fabric of our lives that it’s easy to take them for granted. Parks and pools, firefighters and police, recreation centers, economic development, sidewalks and streets, hurricane recovery — these are all city services.

In honor of Florida City Government Week, we will be highlighting the people, programs, and public services that make the City of Melbourne a safe, vibrant, and welcoming place to live. From first responders and public works crews to parks staff and planners, city employees work every day behind the scenes to protect our health, preserve our history, and build a stronger future for all residents.

We encourage everyone to learn more about the City of Melbourne, its different departments and the services it provides. Browse our website or follow our social channels for city service spotlights.
