We will keep you updated as we have the information available.
Due to the heavy rainfall and flooding throughout Brevard County, Waste Management advises that some trash and recycling collection services may experience delays.
The safety of their employees and the public remains their top priority. Crews are monitoring weather and roadway conditions and will make adjustments as needed to safely continue collection services.
While every effort is being made to maintain normal collection schedules, localized flooding, inaccessible roads, and continued adverse weather may impact service in some areas.
Waste Management appreciates everyone's patience and understanding as crews work through these conditions. Any affected services will resume as soon as it is safe to do so.
Due to the heavy, consistent rainfall, the City's sewer lift stations are experiencing increased flows and are currently operating at capacity.
To help reduce the strain on the sewer system, please limit water usage whenever possible.
We appreciate everyone's cooperation and understanding as we work through the impacts of the heavy rainfall. Thank you for doing your part to help our community!
