"Our firefighters train every day to be ready when our community needs them most,” said Cocoa Fire Chief Lamm. “The actions of this crew demonstrate the professionalism, teamwork and dedication of our department. Their quick response and commitment to providing exceptional emergency care made a lifesaving difference, and we are incredibly proud of each of them.”
Dr. Larissa Dudley, EMS Medical Director, was also in attendance for the recognition. Dr. Dudley emphasized the importance of acknowledging the lifesaving work performed by emergency responders. While firefighters and emergency medical personnel report to work each day committed to serving their communities without seeking recognition, she highlighted the importance of taking the time to recognize their extraordinary efforts and the impact they have on the lives of others.
The City of Cocoa congratulates these four firefighters on their well-deserved recognition and thanks them for their continued dedication to protecting and serving the Cocoa community.
