To help keep residents safe, the Melbourne Fire Department participates in fire education programs like this “Safe Kids Day” at Andretti Thrill Park (held in June and sponsored by Florida Bureau of Fire, Arson and Explosives). We also share fire prevention safety tips throughout the year on the city's website and social media pages. The summer safety campaign is focusing on grilling and outdoor fire safety, Fourth of July safety, heat safety, and pool and beach safety. You can view these and other fire safety tips on our Fire Prevention Safety Tips webpage. If you have any questions about fire prevention and safety, please call the Melbourne Fire Prevention Office at 321-608-7900.
