The City of Melbourne is planning a “blast” of an event for the Fourth of July celebration fireworks display — an experience that thousands of citizens and guests look forward to each year at Front Street Park (2210 Front Street). Celebrate America's 250th birthday with us!

Many thanks to our generous sponsors who made this event possible.

For current MelBOOM event updates on Saturday, July 4, please follow the City of Melbourne Parks, Recreation & Golf Facebook page. The most current info will be posted there ONLY. No website updates or email correspondence will be available.

Let us know if you go! Please tag City of Melbourne Parks, Recreation & Golf Facebook page and/or use #melboom2026.

Security is provided by Cornerstone Protective Services.

The following food trucks will open at 3 p.m. at Front Street Park:

Face painting, temporary tattoos, kid's activities, photo booth, novelty item giveaways for donation, Drop Artesian Water, and stage toss of official MelBOOM t-shirt designed by Derek Gores. Visit our Fireworks Sponsor Orlando Health.

Attendees are encouraged to park at Melbourne Auditorium (at 625 Hibiscus Boulevard) and use a free shuttle service to Front Street Park. Three buses will run continuously from 5 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. Bus service will resume after the fireworks show and will run until 11 p.m. An ADA accessible bus will be available at the Melbourne Auditorium.

No parking is allowed on the portion of the causeway that is in the City of Melbourne. Please note that some businesses do not allow public parking. Those businesses may have your vehicle towed from their private properties at your expense even if they are not open for business on July 4.

The following roads will close at 8 p.m. and will remain closed until approximately 10 p.m., depending on the time it takes for pedestrians to safely exit the park:

Public restrooms will be located outside of the Front Street Civic Center and port-o-lets in the parking lot on the south side of Front Street Civic Center by the grass area.

There will not be public restrooms available inside the Front Street Civic Center because it will be closed to the general public for a VIP sponsor reception.

The boat ramp at Front Street Park will be closed at 5 p.m. on July 3 and will reopen at 9 a.m. on July 5.

Canopies and tents will not be allowed at Front Street Park because they block the view for other spectators.

Please join us by helping fund this event. Your contribution will be combined with those of local businesses, families, and individuals. Donations may be tax deductible, please consult with your tax professional.

We welcome contributions of any amount and offer several options including promotion and visibility for you or your business in appreciation of your participation.
