Join In Celebrating Space Coast Honor Flight Veterans at MLB, Oct. 11

The Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB) is hosting Space Coast Honor Flight’s (SCHF) welcome home ceremony for the veterans returning from their monumental day in Washington, DC. Hundreds of people from the local community are expected to fill MLB’s terminal with flags, signs and applause, creating a "Walk of Honor."

This is a family‐friendly event offering all ages to learn about and participate in recognizing the service of local veterans. There will be live music and food trucks.

Travelling to the nation’s capital will be 50 veterans with 50 guardians and 12 SCHF staff members departing MLB at 6 a.m. on a chartered Allegiant aircraft after a send‐off ceremony held at the airport.
