FPL Contractor Work to Close Lane on Falmouth Street SW on Monday, Oct. 5
An FPL contractor will close part of Falmouth St. SW in Palm Bay from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, for utility construction.
Drivers on Falmouth Street SW in Palm Bay should plan for a temporary road or lane closure on Monday, Oct. 5, while a contractor for Florida Power & Light (FPL) performs utility construction.
According to a City of Palm Bay traffic advisory, Pike Construction, working on behalf of FPL, will be doing the work at 575 Falmouth St. SW (ZIP code 32908), between 574 and 575 Falmouth St. The closure is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. under city permit number PW26-01182.
Crews will place channelizing devices to guide motorists through lane detours and shifts while the work is underway.

The city is asking drivers to use caution in the area and plan their travel accordingly, which may mean allowing extra time or choosing another route during the work window.
